About Benno and his Concessions

26 years ago, Benno of “Benno’s Bar” fame tried his hand at festival concessions. What started as the little “wine stand” at Wisconsin State Fair has become a legend.

Benno’s Concessions is family-owned and operated. Benno (@Mr_Fair) is the patriarch and face of Benno’s Concessions. His current responsibilities include management of all equipment and ordering pretzel buns.

Suzanne is Benno’s wife and counterbalance. If you’ve met Benno, you understand how important she is.

Tim (@timgill) is Director of Operations for BC. He is also Benno’s son-in-law. Those facts are unrelated. Tim is also the owner of Rummage-A-Rama! and Gill Enterprises.

Monica is Tim’s wife and Benno’s firstborn. She plays tug-of-war with Benno all summer to introduce new ideas for branding, marketing, and design. Monica also provides editing and consulting for Gill Enterprises.

Resl is Benno’s younger daughter. She’s all grown up with a fancy nine-to-five gig. But, ever her father’s daughter, Resl is an action junkie. Rarely does an event go by without her dropping in.
